Default Assault On Nightwyrm Fortress Encounter Maps

Assault On Nightwyrm Fortress Encounter Maps
These are the encounter maps for 'P3: Assault on Nightwyrm Fortress'. This is a 4E D&D module published by Wizards of the Coast. I made these for NGordian, who will be using the maps in MapTool.

The WIP thread for these maps is here P3 Assault on Nightwyrn Fortress Encounter Maps. Maps were created using the Gimp and resources downloaded from the dunjinni forums and other places (several of the elements were made by Bogie – thanks!). All maps are at a scale of 100 pixels per grid square and 72 PPI. I am not uploading ungridded versions. I am not uploading the 'missing' encounters because these are depicted in the poster maps that come with the module – there is no point in redoing them and also, following NeonKnight, hopefully not posting those will help to reduce piracy.

All maps are for non-commercial use only.

EDIT: Go here for the latest addition: http://www.cartographersguild.com/fi...onf-orcus.html - ten additional encounter maps for Myrhdraak's Prince of the Undead Conversion of Assault On Nightwyrm Fortress.

[Note – the WotC poster maps include maps for Z3, Z4, Z5 and K3; and K0 can be created from K3 easily enough]

    K8: Hall Of Inquisition

EDIT 25/11/12: I made an additional map for Myrhdraak's Prince of the Undead Conversion of this module (here (wizards.com)). The map is for encounter G16: The Heart of Shadow of the P3 conversion, a sinister underground place in the Shadowfell. The WIP thread is (here). This map is 40 x 40 squares representing 200 x 200 feet. The map is 4000 x 4000 pixels and 72 ppi, so that's four and a half feet (1.5m) tall and wide. It's the biggest map I've ever attempted and my (relatively decent) computer could barely handle it. The cliff and rocky overlays are from Dunjinni (DotW Feb. 2005 & dblade 2006).

Some of the thumbnails are not loading, and I'm not sure why. Does anyone have any ideas? Have I just drawn too many damned maps?

    EDIT: Fixed!

I found your WIP thread right after you started it, looking for this same series and I just wanted to say Awesome job! My group and I were just starting to run this campaign when I found it. I have a question/request and I know you were commissioned to do this series by someone else so I don't know how to go about asking for something like this but here it is anyway. The poster map for the module actually doesn't have a map for K0, there is a section of walkway on it but it's about half of what is needed for the encounter(I have the module + map in front of me as I type). I guess what I'm asking is if you could do a K0 map anyway? The poster map in question is actually for K3. Let me know if we can work something out. Thank you.

Thanks KrazyK. For the K0 map I scanned in the poster map and cut and pasted it into a very long walkway and added a hole. It uses too much WotC original art to put up here on these forums. I'm afaid you'll have to make do.

Added the forgotten map - K8 - to post 3 above. Completely done now.

You have got to be kidding me - did you see how many maps I've just posted up? That's it - no more coming.

While I'm not running this adventure, I will most certainly be able to use these maps in my current homebrew campaign. Thanks for sharing these... they look fantastic (as do all of your maps!)
