Oops. If this is just waiting on a thumbnail scraper I can make that happen. But it will require tagging with the latest wip tag

Well, I can code another tag, but without a bit more development time there's going to have to be some kind of tagging applied. Make sense?

All eligible threads are tagged with '2016'. See here: https://www.cartographersguild.com/tags.php?tag=2016
This is the standard forum tagging system (shows up in the tag cloud on the forum home page). Is that tag of use for thumbnail scraping?

Hmmm. It probably could be. I'll have to see if it's available in the current scraper query... If it is then it'll be easy to add as a condition. Otherwise I'd have to modify the query. I'll try and check that today.

Thanks, Robbie. Really appreciate it.

This discussion on scraping started with me mentioning that I had scraped the posts ChickPea tagged with 2016. For the thumbnails I selected all attachments in the first post, although I have now modified the scraper to include all attachments in all posts of the OP in the thread. My question was if there is a way in which I can make this information of use to other users.
Well the problem with that is it becomes a downloadable thing or a fixed page whereas if I modify the thumbnail scraper, it pulls the attachments directly from the database and is dynamic, so changed immediately. We have the technology, I just have to make the change.

This is horrible! I've narrowed my best City/Town/Dungeon map down to three, and I just can't pick!!

Assign a number to each, clear your mind, and roll a 3-sided die to determine which one is eliminated. As the die rolls, you should achieve immediate clarity about which one is less important. Ignore the die roll and go with that one (if none presented itself, only then should you go with the die roll).
