    I changed the orientation of the map, added some space and relocated the lakes and inland sea, for a better distribution of landmass.

    And here are the mountains I created for this map. I try to not use too bold black and go with a darker grey.

    Got the placement done and draw the rivers. It shaped up nicely so far.

    This is looking magnificent. When you're working with pre-created mountains, do you copy and paste them one at a time, or do you use a brush of sorts? If you don't mind me asking

    Actually its a trick which Chashio came up with in a conversation. Make linework, than lay solid white under the "body" of the Mountain. And than merge both. Now you can pick up objects and place them overlapping without having the linework crossing. Work from north to south, so all looks even.
